Initiated by Credit Suisse associates in 2005, the Interbank Roundtable is an invitation-only quarterly forum for leadership of LGBT employee resource groups in financial services firms to discuss topics of interest on a peer-to-peer basis.
Interbank Roundtable Mission Statement
Mission:
To serve as an open forum for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employee resource group (ERG) representatives from financial industry organizations to discuss best practices and promote inclusion regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
Objectives:
1. Collaborate with fellow ERGs to promote equality and acceptance for LGBT employees.
2. Serve as mentors to organizations seeking to create or improve their respective ERGs.
3. Share best practices related to LGBT issues.
4. Maximize the visibility of ERGs and their efforts to promote diversity.
Membership:
Shall consist of representatives from financial industry organizations LGBT and ally ERGs.
