FSIX Board of Directors
Stephen Anderson serves on the FSIX LA Board of Directors.
Robert Brezosky joined the FSIX LA Board in 2008 shortly after moving to Southern California with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Robert is currently the Director of Recruiting for PwC's Southern California/Phoenix territory and has been with the firm for over 13 years. In addition to his role in leading recruiting, Robert is also co-chair of PwC's GLBT & Allies Networking Circle where he is focused on raising awareness of GLBT priorities within the firm as well as developing GLBT and ally relationships within PwC and with their clients externally. Prior to moving to LA in late 2007, Robert lived in Connecticut and worked for PwC's NY office as Operations Leader of their Expatriate Program. Robert is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT and lives in West Hollywood with his dog Perry. They both enjoy long hikes on the weekends and Robert also enjoys singing, playing guitar, movies, theater, classic cars and cooking.
Cami Capasso joined the FSIX NY Board in 2007. She works as a Financial Advisor with Axa Financial, specializing in the specific financial planning needs of the LGBT community. Her expertise includes financial and estate planning for LGBT individuals, couples and businesses. As an active member of the community, she understands the importance of creating a sound financial plan and is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals and protect future generations. She is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Kin Cheng has been on the FSIX NY Board of Directors from 1994 to 1998, and served as President of FSIX from 1996 to 1998. In September 2004, Kin started FSIX LA and currently organizes several events a year in Los Angeles. Currently, Kin is a Vice President in the Entertainment Industries Group at JPMorgan Securities in Los Angeles, financing film production companies such as MGM, Dreamworks, Lakeshore, and Lions Gate. Kin previously worked for Bank of America and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Sergio Gomez joined the FSIX NY Board in 2009, with a focus on strategic planning. He is currently a Senior Manager in American Express’ Global Merchant Services team, where he focuses on developing new marketing products and exploring partnership opportunities. Prior to this role, Sergio worked in the Strategic Planning Group, a management consulting division at American Express. Sergio holds a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is also an active member of the PRIDE Network at AMEX.
Gregg Katz has been active in FSIX since 2002. In 2007, Gregg started planning FSIX events for Chicago. Currently Gregg is an Associate Director at Fitch Ratings in the structured credit group, where he has been for over three years. Gregg has a BS from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Nick Kleinert joined the FSIX LA Board of Directors in 2009, following several years as an active member in the Los Angeles area. As a recruiter, Nick specializes in the Finance & Accounting vertical across industries. Following a consultative approach, Nick takes time to learn the intricacies of the many clients and consultants he works with in order to place the perfect match. He is always looking for top talent within the market space and is eager to partner with anyone interested in career changes, growth, or who may need staff augmentation within their own organization.
Matt Lynch has been on the FSIX NY Board since 2005. He is a Vice President at JPMorganChase and has worked as a project manager there for five years, first in Investment Bank Technology and now in Market Risk Reporting and Operations. Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Matt worked at Accenture for seven years. He has a B.A. from Duke University.
Ravi Malik serves on the FSIX LA Board of Directors, and is a Senior Portfolio Manager at SSI Investment Management in Beverly Hills. He joined SSI in 1994. His prior experience was with Jefferies & Co. in the research area. In addition to portfolio management, his responsibilities include the valuation of options and risk management, as well as following certain sectors of the convertible market and the non-US markets. Mr. Malik holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Punjab University in Chandigarh, India, and an MBA in Finance from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA where he won a Medallion Award for top student in Finance, as well as the Carter Award for outstanding student. Mr. Malik is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the Association for Investment Management and Research. He received his CFA designation in 1997.
Fred Mariscal is on the FSIX LA Board of Directors. Fred was raised in Mexico City but attended Military School in Texas and preparatory school in Switzerland, where his grandfather served as an ambassador during the 1970’s. He attended Anahuac University in Mexico City where he studied Communications. In 1992 he moved to Los Angeles where he received a degree from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. Upon graduation in 1997, Fred began working for Hanson & Schwam, a Public Relations Firm in Beverly Hills. Fred has served on the Boards of several notable groups, including The Human Rights Campaign, Bike Out and Bienestar Human Services. In addition to his work for FSIX LA, Fred is currently developing a non-profit organization that would provide many Hispanic Americans the opportunity to attend college. He lives in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles.
Robert Mayetta has been on the FSIX NY Board of Directors since 2007. He is currently the Treasurer of FSIX.
Scott Rosser has been on the FSIX LA Board since 2007. Currently, Scott is a Vice President in the Wealth & Institutional Management Group at Comerica Bank. Scott started his career in 1991 and has worked for several firms including Wells Fargo, UBS, and Morgan Stanley.
K Sherbetdjian has been active in FSIX since 1995, on the FSIX NY Board since 2004, and since 2006 has been Co-President of the organization. Professionally, K provides project management services on a contract basis to financial services and consulting firms. Clients have included McKinsey & Co., Credit Suisse and Broadridge. Prior experience includes nine years at Pershing LLC, a division of BNY Mellon, Morgan Stanley and MF Global Holdings USA. K has a BA from Simon’s Rock College of Bard, an MBA from Columbia Business School and is completing an MS in Management and Systems at NYU.
Matthew Steiger has been a member of the FSIX LA Board of Directors since 2004 and has been active in FSIX for over 10 years in both New York and Los Angeles. Matthew is an Assistant Portfolio Officer at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Los Angeles. Since relocating to Los Angeles from New York in April 2002, Matthew has worked as a Vice President/Branch Manager at Cal National Bank in West Hollywood and previously as an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager for Bank of America in West Hollywood and Associate/Project Manager for Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York. Matthew started his career in financial services in 1993 after graduating from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut with a BS in International Business and a minor in Modern Languages. Matthew has been active in the LGBT advocacy community since relocating to Los Angeles. Presently Matthew volunteers as a member of the Leadership Council for the local Los Angeles Chapter of Out & Equal.
Jason Woodruff has been a member of FSIX LA since 2005 and joined the FSIX LA Board of Directors in 2009. Jason is a top-producing Realtor with Keller Williams Realty specializing in residential and commercial properties in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills. He appears regularly on HGTV's hit television show "My House Is Worth What?" giving his opinion as a Los Angeles real estate expert. Jason graduated from Wake Forest University and attended law school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Ting Zhang joined the FSIX NY Board of Directors in 2009, and is an Account Manager in the Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan Chase. She started her career in J.P. Morgan's Internal Consulting Services (ICS) Program, a two-year, rotation-based leadership program. Following that, she executed the Investment Bank's policy to ensure proper accountability for all client relationships as part of her role as the Program Manager. In her current role, she manages the account onboarding process for the thirty Asset Managers under her coverage. Ting is Co-Chair of PRIDE New York, J.P. Morgan's LGBT & Allies networking group. Through her involvement in FSIX and PRIDE, she hopes to foster and promote inclusive community events. She graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
FSIX Administration
David H. Jackson has been associated as a consultant and database manager with FSIX since shortly after its inception as New York Bankers Group in the 1980s. Since 1983 he has been founder and owner of DHJ Information, a computer-based information services company providing various computer-based services for individuals, small companies, and not-for-profit organizations such as FSIX. Prior to starting DHJ he was a Principal Consultant at Ebasco Services, Inc, an engineering, construction, and consulting company serving the public/private utilities sector around the Western Hemisphere. In recent years he has volunteered extensively at Miracle House and Eviction Intervention Services. David has a B.A. from Tufts University.
