FSIX Board of Directors

Kin Cheng is a senior vice president and senior relationship manager in the Los Angeles middle market banking group at Wells Fargo Bank. Kin has 24 years of commercial and corporate banking experience. In 1993, he began in economic research at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and completed his credit training at Bank of America in 1996. He covers a wide range of industries including real estate, apparel, food distribution, restaurants, media, consumer products, and manufacturing.

Kin has been a board member of FSIX since 1993 and started the organization in Los Angeles in 2004, establishing corporate relationships and leading the organization in various management roles. Kin is also a board member of the Los Angeles LGBT Center and East West Players, an Asian American theater company based in downtown Los Angeles.

In 1993, Kin earned a BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in economics. Kin was born and raised in San Francisco, California and trained as a classical violinist. He married his husband Hervé in 2016 and lives in Hollywood, California.



Jeffrey Soon Moridani
is a partner at Axcelion Partners, LLC, focused on general management and operations consulting. He an experienced consultant who has spent over a decade working with corporate banks, startups, and small businesses in a wide variety of industries and across multi-disciplinary job functions. His career began in fixed income securities analysis at JP Morgan and TCW where he focused on leading industry research used in hedging strategies/risk mitigation for portfolio management. Jeff utilizes his experience with both fundamental and quantitative methodologies to provide clients with an end-to-end view of business issues. This viewpoint helps improve business outcomes like sustainable growth and profitability by refining value drivers that deliver better results by aligning business strategies to operations.

Jeff joined FSIX as a board member in 2012, helping to operate, organize and plan events, further establishing the group’s leadership role in the LGBT community.

Jeff holds a BA in economics with a minor in Japanese from the University of California, Santa Barbara and studied corporate finance at the University of California, Berkeley. He lives with his husband Farbod in Los Angeles, California.



Nick Kleinert has been on the FSIX board since 2010 and works in talent acquisitions with The Walt Disney Company. In his role, he specializes in recruitment and talent management for enterprise wide strategy, finance, and accounting functions.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Miami University in Ohio.

 

 



Evan Mungo
has been a member of the FSIX Los Angeles Board since July 2014. Evan is an associate at Kanon Ventures, and oversees acquisitions, development, and asset management of a 3M SF real estate portfolio. Prior to his current role, Evan was a financial analyst at Wells Fargo Bank, responsible for financial modeling and underwriting corporate real estate debt, M&A transactions, and working capital financing for middle-market companies. His portfolio included healthcare, non-profits, aviation leasing, hospitality and other public enterprises.

Evan has experience both working and studying in Central America and Asia. Evan earned a BBA in finance and Chinese language from The College of William and Mary and an advanced language certificate from Peking University in Beijing where he completed a rigorous seven-month language immersion program.

Evan lives in Hollywood, California where he is actively involved with local organizations such as The Los Angeles LGBT Center. Evan is an avid international traveler and enjoys learning foreign languages, competitive running, and cooking.



Charlie Schuster
is a Beverly Hills-based real estate agent specializing in sales of homes and income property throughout Los Angeles. He began his career in Los Angeles working closely with mega film and TV producer Jerry Bruckheimer and later transitioned into TV talent representation at United Talent Agency before finding his true calling in the world of luxury real estate sales.

Charlie’s commitment to outstanding service, his tenacity and integrity are a few reasons why Charlie maintains a record of 100% client satisfaction. With over eight years of experience, his passionate love of real estate is the driving force behind his success.

Charlie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, with additional focuses in real estate and film.

Joseph Ethan Castaneda
 has served on the board of directors for FSIX since 2016. He is an associate portfolio manager at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Prior to this role, Joseph was a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors Private Wealth Management.

Joseph received his degree in complexity science (multi-agent simulation & evolutionary computation), as well as a degree in political science from UCLA. He was a Riordan MBA Fellow at The UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was the last apprentice, to the late, professor of Mergers & Acquisitions J. Fred Weston.

Joseph is the chairman of End of Life Companions, a non-profit that helps people die with dignity and peace during their last moments of life. Joseph also volunteers as a stock market guest speaker for SIFMA (Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association).



Michael Corrao has been a member of the FSIX New York Board since July 2012. Michael is the director of investor relations & communications at Salient Partners, a Houston, Texas-based asset manager. Previously, from 2012 until mid-2014, Michael managed business development efforts at Tiger Bay Advisors, a boutique consulting firm. From August 2009 until June 2012, Michael was the investor relations manager at The Rohatyn Group, an emerging market alternative manager with assets in hedge funds, credit, real estate, and private equity. Prior to joining The Rohatyn Group, Michael was part of the corporate strategy team at Cushman & Wakefield from June 2008 until August 2009 and the personal assistant to fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez from May 2007 until June 2008. Michael started his career at Bloomberg LP in July 2003, first as a customer support manager and later as an advertising sales executive for the firm’s website.

Michael is a licensed private pilot, member of New York Road Runners, and has volunteered extensively at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from New York University and splits his time between New York and Houston.



Catie Brennan has been a member of the FSIX New York Board since June 2014. Catie is the director of marketing communications at The Rohatyn Group. Prior to joining The Rohatyn Group in 2010, Catie allocated capital to hedge funds as part of the Deutsche Bank absolute return fund of hedge funds team. During her time at Deutsche Bank, she covered hedge funds in the event driven, global macro and equity long/short space, most recently serving as the head of event driven due diligence. Additionally, Catie served as the assistant portfolio manager for several fund of hedge fund portfolios.  

Catie holds a BS in economics from Georgetown University.



Rob Mayetta
 has been a board member since 2004 and served as president of the New York Board from 2011 to 2014. He has been active in LGBT advocacy both in the corporate and non-profit sectors since the late 1990s. Rob has worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years in a variety of roles, including operations, risk and project management and strategic development. He currently is a founding partner in the firm Smart Daily Administrators LLC, assisting clients in managing their daily financial, insurance and legal matters.

Rob lives in Westchester County with his husband of 27 years and their dog Cory.
