About Us
Founded in 1983 as the New York Bankers Group, FSIX is dedicated to creating a fun, friendly networking environment to foster LGBT equality in the financial services industry by partnering with major organizations and LGBT community groups.
An all-volunteer group of professionals serves as FSIX's Board of Directors. Members of the FSIX Board of Directors currently live in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
FSIX is a New York 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. We are non-partisan, and do not endorse any political parties or candidates.
All are welcome to attend most events, unless otherwise specified. Financial services professionals, associates, MBA students, community partners and other interested parties are welcome to participate in the FSIX community by registering on this site free of charge.
Membership in FSIX is reserved for those in defined categories, to preserve the mission of the group and differentiate it from other associations with a broader focus and different objectives.
